The
Calabria Society, an Italian-American organization in Westchester County,
along with other Italian-American organizations throughout New York, is not
insensitive to the cries of pain and necessity that echo from the city of
Aquila, Abruzzi (Italy) as a result of the recent earthquake that has
devastated the entire region. President Domenico
Procopio, profoundly believes that this tragic earthquake morally obligates
all Italian-Americans to exert their maximum effort with the highest sense of
responsibility to express their solidarity towards those who have been
afflicted by this tragedy. “In this moment of
